[ there's a pause after that, and just when it seems like that's all she wanted to send, she speaks up again. ]
There's a job for two people up, if you're interested.
[ this is... mostly her reaching out to check in on 2B under the guise of working. A2 isn't very good at this kind of thing, but 2B had trusted her to talk about her issues last time, so she figures she could at least make sure she's alright now. ]
[It's definitely a bit surprising to hear from A2 like this, but that's by no means a bad thing. And asking her for help on a two-person job makes sense, even if she's somewhat curious about whether this is really just about a job. If it's not, well, A2 will probably say so herself soon enough.]
[ she's by the job board when 2B arrives, straightening up as she meets her halfway. A2 hasn't really seen or talked to 2B at length since that time in the forest, so there's a bit of a pause as she looks at her, as if to make sure she's alright. it's a little strange how it happens without her even really thinking about it; 2B is certainly more than capable of handling things herself, but there was a vulnerability in their last conversation that she didn't expect. and maybe a part of her feels responsible for it; she still hasn't forgotten the promise she made to 2B.
the moment passes and A2 turns further in. there is a table set up a ways from the job board with workers taking out packaged food from large boxes. ]
They just need us to take one box each. I have a map of the area they want us to go to.
[2B's almost positive that A2 could carry both boxes alone if she wanted to. Maybe the client requested that one person carry one box, but it seems like an oddly specific request, so she doubts it. This more than likely isn't just about work then.
But, well. It's not like she minds that. She realizes that this is the first time she's seen A2 since running into her in the forest, so maybe this has something to do with that. As weird as it is to possibly be worried about like that, she... appreciates it, even if she doesn't really know how to go about saying it.]
Sounds easy enough. [What job isn't for them though...... She easily picks up one of the boxes and turns back to A2.] Lead the way.
